So here is all of you who have young children have to look forward too when they get to teenagers.OK as you might remember reading a comment from Stacy about the Amanda Palmer concert last night that Stacy, Taylor and her friend where going to - Don't worry I didn't know who Amanda Palmer was either and if you don't have a teenager you probably don't either. So they had fun last night.

Amanda Palmer - Well what can I say?? She was definitely AMAZING!! Not everyone's cup of tea that is for sure!! We had a FANTABULOUS time last night. The girls got autographs, t-shirts, stickers, the whole sha-bang!!! Good thing we are on Faculty Meeting Schedule today and they don't have to be to school until 9 a.m. it definitely was a late night....Making those sweet memories...and you can all see why my shower is purple...lol!! Gotta love those teenage years!!!

Stacy, you're right, fulfilling dreams and creating memories that will last a life time.I'm like you, I couldn't have stood for 5 1/2 hours either. Taylore and her friends smile say it all.
I bet they said, "OMG MOM you are so coool for taking us" and they weren't in the least bit embarrassed. Stacy - - -you are cool.

Frank, you are right, that's exactly what they said! Taylore is into some really strange music so I get into it to, but at the same time she gets into the same music I like as well. It has to be a well rounded ipod we listen to in the car, on her own she dances to her own tune...lol...thank goodness, she is definitely one of a kind - she gets that from her dad ;) Usually she wants me to drop off and pick up, but this is one show she really wanted me to go to and I'm glad I did, she shows me something new and interesting every day - some days it's just how much a teenager can complain, omg, who knew..lol...other days are just down right amazing!!!

ReplyDeleteAs you know, I am on my second go-around. My first son, Shane was into Michael Jackson, Beastie Boys and Elvis. Reed is into ugh, Hip Hop. They both loved dancing and singing and an audience. Wonder where they got that?
