Happy Saturday Buzzman Bloggers. Had a pretty good night, off my morphine pump so no more pushing the button. I am able to take meds orally now so they are gradually taking me off IV drugs They will remove the IV nutrition sometime later this morning so I will have to start drinking and eating on my own.

Platelets 31 (exceeded Nurse Barb's expectation she was sure I would need platelets, but I
prevailed)
Have had some swelling in my left arm, right leg and left side of my neck. They took me down for an ultra sound and I am happy to report that there are no new clots. They have been pumping a ton of fluid into me and it had nowhere else to go. This too shall pass.
Weather is predicted to be sunny and warm in Nashville, hope you all have some sunshine today, also. Have a good weekend expect to be released tomorrow or Monday.

Thank goodness that you can get all of those IVs removed today.Work hard on trying to get down those solids or semi-solids and liquids. You need them. Sunny and warm in Memphis today. Reed has an early soccer game today and then I am heading to the FedEx Forum to watch Memphis final regular season home game. Love you dude and keep up the great work. Miss you!
